Report from the 2nd Cognitive Science Conference of Students (CosCoS), May 14–17, 2026, University of Tübingen

The second Cognitive Science Conference of Students (CoSCoS 2026) took place at the University of Tübingen from May 14–17, 2026.

Thanks to the initiative of the organizing team—composed of students from various locations—CoSCoS provided a space for participants from cities such as Osnabrück, Tübingen, Potsdam, Kaiserslautern, and Darmstadt to network both personally and professionally through workshops and other activities. With a low-barrier-to-entry concept, free participation, meals, and lodging for out-of-town guests, the event successfully attracted students from every semester.

Several presentations explored career prospects, and an interdisciplinary panel discussion allowed participants to engage in dialogue with the speakers and panelists. In addition to the academic program, students organized a variety of workshops and interactive group projects, as well as a hackathon, all run by students for students.
