Philosophical Thinking in the Ruhr Region: A New Program

Dear Thinkers,

Would like to draw your attention to a special opportunity. We are launching a
new initiative on “Philosophy and the Public” featuring
a series of lectures and an exhibition on philosophy, which will take place as part of the
Ruhr Alliance of the three universities in Bochum, Duisburg-Essen, and Dortmund:
the philosophy departments have joined forces for this initiative and cordially invite you to attend.

These programs are also aimed at philosophy students, as the content is presented in a way that makes it particularly accessible from a pedagogical standpoint:

Perception & Understanding—the World, Ourselves, and Others

people?

Where and when? 28.2.2025-06.04.2025 im Dortmunder U (close to the Train Station)

With kind regards,

Albert Newen (Institut für Philosophie II, Bochum)

Katja Crone (Institut für Philosophie, TU Dortmund)

Raphael van Riel (Institut für Philosophie, Duisburg-Essen)
