  This email account was created to help students coming to Stresa for 

  the XXVII Annual Meeting of the Cognitive Science Society share 

  accomodation costs for double rooms in Stresa. Here is how it works: 

  If you are coming to CogSci05, but you want to save money on 

  accomodation, then you email this address: students.cogsci05@gmail.com. 

  Your email should say 'looking for accomodation' in the subject line 

  and contain some of the following information in the body of the email: 



  1. Name*, M/F, university* 

  2. Which nights you will stay in Stresa* 

  3. A brief statement of your Cognitive Science interests and/or background 

  4. Any requests about your roomate (e.g. non-smoker, female preferred 

etc...) 



  * Information must be included 



  The purpose of your email is to find someone to share with you the 

  cost of a double room.  By sharing rooms we each save about half the 

  accomodation costs per night. 



  Once you place your Ad, we will email you the password to the email 

  account and you can log on to see if there are other people who placed 

  an announcement and who are looking for a similar arrangement in the 

  same days. 



  If you find someone, or if someone finds you, you can contact her/him 

  and see if s/he is willing to make a reservation in a hotel in Stresa 

  with you for a double room. Once you have finalised your accomodation, 

  please delete your original emails so that other people will contact 

  only other people who are still looking. 



  This is an unmoderated service which relies on students to organise 

  all aspects of the accomodation process themselves.  This includes 

  contacting hotels, making bookings, organising payments etc... Please 

  do NOT burden the conference organisers about this service.
