Positions in Affective and Social Cognitive Neuroscience at the Department of Psychiatry/Brain Imaging Center Frankfurt, Germany. The positions are in the research group of Henrik Walter, Professor for Biological Psychiatry. We seek well-educated, bright people with a background in cognitive neuroscience/experimental psychology and/or experience in programming for two fMRI projects: (1) Emotion Regulation and Cognitive Control. (2) Emotion and Social Interaction in the Neurobiology of Morality. Background or interest in Moral Philosophy is required. The projects are part of a three year interdisciplinary project on emotions (‘Animal Emotionale’) together with the Institute of Cognitive Science Osnabrück (Achim Stephan, Professor for Philosophy of Cognition) funded by the Volkswagenstiftung (http://www.volkswagen-stiftung.de/foerderung/foerderinitiativen/bewilli gungslisten/prolstg.htm#2005).
