Doctoral Consortium on Cognitive Science at the ICCM 2003, Bamberg, 9th of April >From April 10th to April 12th the Fifth International Conference on Cognitive Modelling, ICCM 2003, will take place in Bamberg. The day prior to the conference, 9th of April, there will be a Doctoral Consortium for a limited number of doctorands in Cognitive Science (starting at 2 p.m.). Few places are still vacant! If you are writing your dissertation in the field of Cognitive Science, especially if you use computer simulation as a method, this Doctoral Consortium provides an excellent opportunity to discuss your work with an international board of scholars with a high reputation in the field. Prof. Frank Ritter, Prof. Werner Tack and Prof. Dietrich Dörner will guide the panel. In addition to participating in the Doctoral Consortium, all Doctoral Consortium students are offered to prepare a poster (maximum: 100 cm width and 150 cm height) for presentation of their work at the ICCM-2003 poster session (Thursday evening, April 10th). You are expected to give a short description of your doctoral project, a short outline of your recent work and the topics to be discussed with the panel.
